The role emphasizes shaping architectures and tooling from concept through production, balancing current requirements with future enhancements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to address challenging problems using modern techniques and architectural approaches.
Responsibilities
- Resolve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment.
- Develop software and systems from vision to production ready.
- Learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements.
- Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
- Help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.
Requirements
- Experience with software engineering using Rust, C, C++, or Python
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Experience working within a CI/CD pipeline
- Knowledge of AI-assisted software development tools and practices such as code copilots, automated tests, or secure-by-design patterns
- Ability to effectively communicate, work independently and collaboratively on a cross-functional team, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
