Responsibilities
- Develops innovative software solutions, handles design, development, testing, and troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to solve problems.
- Writes secure, production-grade code and reviews and debugs code written by others.
- Identifies opportunities to automate recurring remediation to improve operational stability of software applications and systems.
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to probe architectural designs and their applicability within existing systems and information architecture.
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of new technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in REST API.
- Proficient in Kafka.
- Advanced understanding of multi-region deployments.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (for example, Co-Pilot, LLM).
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
- Cloud infrastructure experience.
