Responsibilities

Designs, sustains, and enhances complex software systems across domains such as analytics processing, novel algorithms, handling very large data sets, real-time environments, and management information systems, all aligned with documented requirements.
Contributes as an individual contributor or collaborates within a team.
Reviews and validates software components to ensure adherence to design requirements and documents testing results.
Debugs and resolves software defect reports.
Applies appropriate software development and design methodologies suitable for the development environment.
Provides detailed input on system design for software components, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, COTS/GOTS options, and cascading requirements analysis from system level to individual components.

Requirements

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required to start.
Minimum five years of engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience translating user requirements into software design and performance requirements.
Experience designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add features.
Experience debugging and correcting defects in software.
Must obtain customer approval.
