Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, maintain and improve business processes and corresponding software applications to meet user needs for the assigned area.
Exhibit advanced technical skills required for developing, implementing and maintaining business software applications within specified time frames, using the required tools.
Utilize independent judgment to efficiently create technical solutions by applying skills and interpreting business requirements and strategy.
Provide ongoing information, support, mentoring and training as needed for internal customers, team members and IT.
Lead and/or contribute to end-to-end project delivery, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
Test and debug application systems of significant complexity to ensure accuracy, standards compliance, meet requirements, and have acceptable response times while adhering to time constraints and project deadlines.
Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and integration issues in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Document application systems and procedures according to organizational needs, including test scripts, maintenance, processes, training, and handoffs to testing teams, ensuring compliance with department standards.
Technically lead efforts involving moderate to complex level projects, often guiding other team members and coordinating with outside technology vendors as required. Prioritize in line with guidance and organizational needs to meet timelines.
Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts, with a proven track record of self-development and growth.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an IT related discipline or related experience.
5–7 years of experience within a programming/development environment (level may vary based on candidate experience).
Primary technical skills & knowledge: strong experience with Oracle EPM Cloud; strong SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development skills; proven end-to-end project experience; strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Additional desired skills & knowledge: Oracle Developer, Java, Groovy scripting; system integration experience using APIs, HTML, XML, Oracle E-Business Suite, MS Office Suite including MS Visio, Unix, Linux, Windows, MS SQL Server.

Design and support of EDI and middleware workflows (Celigo) linking customers, NetSuite, and internal systems.

Collaborate with a PLC programming contractor to surface PLC and production line data into the production management system and other systems (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT, or similar).
Deployment and management of AI vision cameras for production monitoring and quality assurance applications.
Refrigeration monitoring and alerting integration using KE2 Therm controllers across twelve zones.
Management of facility audio/visual systems including digital signage and automated audio alerts via webhooks.
Ownership of the facility network stack, including UniFi switching, wireless coverage in production areas, cameras, access control, and VoIP services.

Requirements

AI native development as the default approach. Significant, demonstrable experience using Claude Code (or equivalent agentic coding tools) as a core part of daily workflow for architecture, implementation, debugging, and refactoring. Ability to discuss real projects shipped with AI assistance and to articulate strengths and limitations of AI tools.
On site, five days a week in Dallas. Work involves physical hardware such as readers, cameras, controllers, servers, network gear, and production equipment; remote or hybrid arrangements are not considered.
Full stack shipping ability. Independently take a feature from specification to production across a React frontend and Python backend, including database design, API design, and deployment.
Systems level comfort. Proficiency with Linux, networking fundamentals (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, firewalls), and physical infrastructure. Not required to be a network engineer, but comfortable with a switch closet, server rack, and configuration files.
Extreme ownership and self direction. You act as the technology lead, diagnose and implement solutions, and communicate clearly with non technical stakeholders while delivering on commitments.
