Responsibilities
- Collaborate with BI leadership and stakeholders to define business objectives, map project scope, and mentor junior team members to deliver solid technical outcomes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, respond promptly to inquiries, and escalate where necessary.
- Apply advanced statistical methods to uncover patterns, ranging from basic aggregations to complex analyses.
- Partner with Data Engineers on data collection, storage, and retrieval; work with Data Governance to identify data issues and propose cleansing or enhancement solutions.
- Lead projects using analytical best practices, ensuring data sources are connected with quality and reliability.
- Utilize interactive dashboards and visualizations to present data-driven insights with a strong focus on user experience.
- Oversee validation, QA testing, and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting.
- Provide post-implementation support, including defect resolution and hands-on troubleshooting of reports in the field.
- Manage Power BI administration activities such as capacity planning, data connections oversight, and user/group access provisioning.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance optimization, automation, and expanded functionality.
- Foster an inclusive environment that strengthens relationships and authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

Requirements
- Group Work Leadership: Ability to guide portions of a pod's iterations, clearly communicate priorities, and provide effective technical support to junior colleagues.
- Consultative Mindset: Engage stakeholders beyond analytics to understand challenges and goals, applying a business-first lens to solutions.
- Technical Acumen: Knowledge of data pipelines, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), advanced report development, and querying languages (SQL, R, Python, etc.).
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail, documentation, organization, and time management.
- Communication: Timely updates with management and stakeholders, plus tailored communication plans for diverse audiences.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing data and building comprehensive dashboards in a retail enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools (eg, JIRA, Confluence).
