Job Description

SEAGA MANUFACTURING INC builds automated retail solutions that bring together intelligent kiosks, payment technologies, and integrated hardware systems. This Software Engineer role focuses on developing and supporting reliable software platforms, including financial services applications built on micro-services architecture and Spring Boot. You will work in a River Falls, WI onsite environment, contributing to software that supports payment transaction processing and real-world device integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications and technology platforms that support automated retail solutions, including intelligent kiosks, payment technologies, and integrated hardware systems
  • Review business and customer requirements to produce scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance existing applications and improve software architecture and development processes for payment transaction processing systems
  • Evaluate user needs and software requirements to confirm feasibility of software designs within business and technical constraints, working closely with engineering teams to integrate hardware and software systems and define technical specifications and performance requirements for payment transaction processing systems
  • Design, code, and test financial services applications using micro-services architecture with Spring Boot based services
  • Develop, maintain, and support APIs and integrations across internal systems, third-party applications, hardware devices, and payment technologies, including troubleshooting software defects, integration issues, and production support incidents
  • Handle software deployment, system configuration, testing, and performance optimization, including onsite integration of kiosks, payment devices, and related peripherals to support reliable and efficient software solutions

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Experience: 2 years as a Software Developer/Engineer
  • Domain and architecture: Experience designing and coding applications in the financial services domain using microservices architecture and Spring Boot-based services
