What we offer

Join a collaborative team in Hoboken, NJ for a full-time, permanent onsite role. You will contribute to building a responsive UI atop a Node.js backend within a MEAN architecture, driving scalable product design and cross-team collaboration. The environment emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and practical architecture decisions to support high performance with a minimal footprint. Responsibilities

  • Develop a responsive UI based application and expose RESTful interfaces to the UI through a Node.js backend
  • Contribute to code architecture decisions to sustain a high-performance, scalable product with a small footprint
  • Apply experience from enterprise or consumer software development environments
  • 2-3 years of Node.js experience and familiarity with ExpressJS
  • 1-2 years of experience implementing applications with Angular 1, and some familiarity with Angular 2
  • 3-4 years of front end development using HTML5 and Angular
  • JavaScript development on both client and server sides
  • Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and design patterns, with at least one year in a MEAN fullstack paradigm
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of deployment architectures and topologies
  • Effective communicator and a team player with coordination experience
  • Agile software development experience
  • Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
  • Creating secure RESTful web services in XML and JSON using JavaScript and JQuery
  • Continuous integration and version control using Jenkins/Hudson, SVN, and Git

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience with NodeJS and ExpressJS
  • 1-2 years implementing applications with Angular 1, and some familiarity with Angular 2
  • 3-4 years of front end development using HTML5 and Angular
  • JavaScript development experience on both client and server sides
  • Minimum one-year experience with the MEAN fullstack paradigm
  • Understanding of deployment architectures and topologies
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Agile software development experience
  • Experience with cloud technologies is a plus
  • Creating secure RESTful web services in XML and JSON with JavaScript and JQuery
  • Continuous integration (Jenkins/Hudson) and version control (SVN, Git)
