Job Description

Based in Miramar, Florida, this contract role leads both front-end and back-end development teams at Space Coast Credit Union's Miramar Operations Center. The position combines hands-on coding with guidance of cross-functional delivery, and requires strong expertise in React and .NET in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

Provide occasional after-hours support to answer questions and resolve problems.
Lead and mentor software developers in implementing software architectural changes while ensuring proper coding standards are followed.
Offer technical guidance to frontend and backend developers working toward common objectives while maintaining coding discipline.
Collaborate with vendors, IT team members, users, and department managers to determine requirements for new or modified software and hardware.
Review, analyze, and modify application systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Analyze and resolve problems related to application systems.
Detect, diagnose, and report related issues promptly.
Consistently meet assigned project deadlines and goals.

Requirements

4-year college degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, integration, deployment, support, and documentation of core and web-based systems following the software development lifecycle, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Experience with agile development methodologies, object-oriented programming, web services, client-server concepts, and performing code reviews to ensure proper coding standards.
