Developer Team Lead

Based in Miramar, Florida, this contract role leads both front-end and back-end development teams at Space Coast Credit Union's Miramar Operations Center. The position combines hands-on coding with guidance of cross-functional delivery, and requires strong expertise in React and .NET in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide occasional after-hours support to answer questions and resolve problems.
• Lead and mentor software developers in implementing software architectural changes while ensuring proper coding standards are followed.
• Offer technical guidance to frontend and backend developers working toward common objectives while maintaining coding discipline.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT team members, users, and department managers to determine requirements for new or modified software and hardware.
• Review, analyze, and modify application systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Analyze and resolve problems related to application systems.
• Detect, diagnose, and report related issues promptly.
• Consistently meet assigned project deadlines and goals.

Requirements

• 4-year college degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, integration, deployment, support, and documentation of core and web-based systems following the software development lifecycle, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, object-oriented programming, web services, client-server concepts, and performing code reviews to ensure proper coding standards.
