The Developer Team Lead will oversee front‑end and back‑end teams from the Miramar Operations Center, driving new processes, improvements, and best practices while remaining hands‑on with development. A strong track record with React and .NET is required. You will guide cross‑functional delivery, mentor developers, and ensure reliability across the stack. This is a temp‑to‑permanent role with an initial six month contract.
Role Details
Location: 10600 Marks Way, Miramar, FL 33025. Hybrid work arrangement available with two days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor software developers in implementing architectural changes while upholding coding standards.
- Provide technical guidance to both frontend and backend developers to achieve common goals and maintain quality.
- Collaborate with vendors, IT team members, users, and department managers to determine requirements for new or modified software and hardware.
- Review, analyze, and modify application systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation; identify and resolve related problems.
- Detect, diagnose, and report issues affecting application systems; ensure timely resolution.
- Meet assigned project deadlines and goals consistently.
- Provide occasional after‑hours support to address questions and resolve problems.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: A four‑year college degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with software analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, integration, deployment, support, and documentation of core and web‑based systems following the software development lifecycle, or an equivalent mix of experience, education, and training.
- Required Skills: Proficiency in agile development methodologies, object‑oriented programming, web services, client‑server concepts, and conducting code reviews to ensure coding standards are met.
- Frontend development: React, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, SASS, Bootstrap, and WCMS platforms.
- Backend development: .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps Server, C#, Node.js, SQL Server or other relational databases; API integrations.
- General: Familiarity with both front‑end and back‑end development concepts, and experience with Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
