Senior Software Developer

Solu Technology Partners is hiring a Senior Software Developer to support application development across multiple projects in Columbus, OH (onsite). In this role, you will help design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software built on Microsoft and modern web technologies.

The position offers a USD 115,000 per year salary and is best suited for experienced engineers with deep .NET and Azure experience, along with strong testing and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain applications across multiple projects as assigned by the Application Manager.
• Build and support applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, React, Redux, and Node.js, along with related technologies.
• Support application development and deployment using Azure and Azure Pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database components, including stored procedures, functions, tables, and views.
• Contribute to solution design, technical project planning, requirements analysis, and application design.
• Perform unit testing and system testing, support manual QA testing, and create test documentation.
• Create technical documentation covering application functionality, testing approaches, and business or functional workflows.
• Develop HTML reports and other application components as needed.
• Recommend and apply software reusability guidelines and development best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers and lower-level staff through verbal instruction and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with team members by communicating technical recommendations and suggesting improvements to applications and processes.
• Work across multiple projects and remain open to adopting new tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree.
• 7 years of experience in solutions design, project technical planning, analysis and design, communication, testing, and implementation.
• 7 years of experience recommending software reusability guidelines.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development, including stored procedures, functions, tables, and views.
• Familiarity with manual QA testing processes.
• Experience in enterprise data modeling.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Azure, C#, .NET, ASP, JavaScript, Knockout, JSON, APIs, Node.js, Azure Pipelines, React, and Redux.
• Experience with Redis and Axios.
• Experience with .NET Framework 4.1 and later versions, including .NET Core 6, 8, and 10.
• Experience with ASP.NET web application development and Windows Forms.
• Experience performing system testing and creating test documentation.
• Experience creating technical documentation and business or functional flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, mentor other developers, learn new tools, and provide constructive recommendations.
