Senior Software Engineer

Optum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its AI efforts supporting United AI Studio (UAIS). The position involves building and maintaining web applications, partnering with cross-functional teams on platform improvements and production support, and applying modern AI-assisted development workflows.

Role Overview

You will develop and maintain web applications for United AI Studio (UAIS) while collaborating with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to support platform enhancements, production operations, defect remediation, and modernization initiatives. The role emphasizes modern web development practices using TypeScript and React along with AI-assisted tooling.

• Develop and maintain web applications for United AI Studio (UAIS)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience building modern web applications with TypeScript, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Git
• Strong understanding of responsive and accessible UI development, testing practices, CI/CD, and Agile delivery

Remote Work Details

This role is based in Eden Prairie, MN with remote work. For all hires, remote work is available from anywhere within the U.S. However, for Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area hires, the expectation is to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: USD 91,700 - 163,700 per year (based on full-time employment)
