Senior AI Developer

Noetic is building AI-powered product capabilities in an early-stage startup environment and is looking for a senior, hands-on engineer to design, build, and own AI features from idea through production. This is a Staff-level individual contributor role focused on shipping customer-facing intelligence, iterating quickly, and keeping production quality front and center.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and take full ownership of AI-powered product features end-to-end.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Prototype and iterate rapidly while maintaining production-quality standards.
• Assess, evaluate, and integrate new AI models, frameworks, and tooling.
• Contribute across the stack as needed, including frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Shape technical direction through hands-on delivery rather than people management.

What you bring

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 5 years working in a product company of similar size and stage (preferably Seed to Series A/B).
• Experience building customer-facing products.
• Mandatory: hands-on experience with AI technologies.
• Strong product mindset with customer-oriented thinking.
• High ownership and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity with rapid iteration in a Seed-stage startup.
• Pragmatic engineering judgment that balances speed, quality, and technical debt.
• Passion for AI and a habit of staying current with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.

Background that aligns well

• Experience shipping AI-powered products such as agents, copilots, RAG, and workflow automation is a strong advantage.
• DevOps or infrastructure experience is a plus.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science is a plus.
