Savvee Inc. is seeking a seasoned Mobile Application Developer to join an on-site federal engagement in Washington, DC. This role centers on delivering an employee-focused mobile app, with a emphasis on robust mobile development, thoughtful UX/UI, and active collaboration within agile teams. The position blends technical leadership with a focus on security, accessibility, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy an employee-centric mobile application tailored to organizational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elicit requirements and establish user experience goals.
- Ensure alignment with branding, accessibility standards, and security guidelines.
- Conduct testing and debugging to preserve performance across devices and platforms.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine features and functionality.
- Maintain documentation and provide ongoing support for updates and enhancements.
- Integrate backend services and APIs to support dynamic content and user interactions.
- Monitor performance metrics and usage analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay current with mobile development trends, tools, and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT and data security policies.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and other agile ceremonies.
- Understand organizational policies to ensure accuracy and quality in client deliverables.
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and responsive customer support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, media, software development, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR Master’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Ten or more years of overall experience.
- Experience with mobile programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with frameworks and libraries including React Native, Flutter, Xamarin, etc.
- Proficiency with development environments like Android Studio and Xcode.
- Strong understanding of mobile design principles and ability to craft responsive, intuitive interfaces.
- Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
- Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools.
- Ability to obtain the client’s Public Trust clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A highly motivated self-starter with strong customer-service orientation.
