Android and IOS developer

Adidev Technologies Inc. is seeking entry and mid-level iOS and Android developers (1 to 2 years of experience) to support client engagements by enhancing, debugging, and maintaining large-scale mobile applications. Assignments may run from 6 to 18 months, with relocation based on client requirements.

Compensation

USD 30 - 40 per hourly (salary range also listed: $60k to $85k, depending upon experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and debug large-scale applications for one of Adidev Technologies Inc.'s well-known clients.
• Work as an iOS or Android Mobile Developer for Adidev Technologies Inc.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness to relocate based on client assignment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to manage yourself and your time.
• Comfort with code versioning and source control (Git is required; additional familiarity with Mercurial or SVN is referenced).
• Familiarity with continuous integration.

Android Developer Requirements

• At least 1 years of experience with Java and Kotlin (Kotlin listed at 1 year).
• At least 1 application published to the Play Store, demonstrating familiarity with the release process.
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, including working across different Android versions and screen sizes.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and commonly used libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting mobile applications to back-end services.
• Comfort with Git and source control.

iOS Developer Requirements

• Proficiency with Swift and Objective-C, along with Cocoa Touch (knowledge and hands-on listed).
• Experience with iOS frameworks including Core Data and Core Animation.
• Experience with design patterns such as MVC and Singleton.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting iOS applications to back-end services.
• Familiarity with third-party API integrations such as Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, GoogleDrive, Bluetooth, and Keychain.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines, plus knowledge of UI/UX standards.
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools such as Instruments and Shark (depending on project needs).
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications, including benchmarking and optimization.
