Job Description

Contract iOS Developer roles for senior level work on E*TRADE and Morgan Stanley Wealth Management apps, onsite in Texas with ROBOTICS TECHNOLOGIES LLC.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
  • Deliver clean, maintainable, high-performance code with a focus on reliability
  • Explore Apple APIs such as Local Authentication and Common Crypto to solve real world problems elegantly
  • Optimize performance through profiling, concurrency strategies, and thoughtful design
  • Mentor other developers and help shape the technical culture of the Menlo office
  • Leverage AI tooling to accelerate development while preserving deep thinking and meaningful contributions

Requirements

  • Proven ability to design and build robust, scalable iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI
  • Design modular, testable systems with MVC and MVVM patterns
  • CI/CD pipelines, app signing, provisioning, Instruments, and full end-to-end iOS app lifecycle
  • Prior Apple ecosystem experience is highly valued
  • Experience developing APIs
  • Knowledge of Android app development
  • Excellent communication
  • LinkedIn profile

  • Strong CS fundamentals: memory management, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency
  • Deep iOS expertise: UIKit, SwiftUI, and the broader Apple ecosystem
  • Architectural thinking with modular, testable designs and informed opinions on MVC, MVVM, and beyond
  • Curiosity and craftsmanship focused on how things are built
  • Clear communicator who can walk through your own code and explain decisions; comfortable admitting when you do not know
  • Collaborative, thoughtful, and easy to work with
  • AI maturity: using AI tools to enhance your workflow
  • Strong written and verbal English communication
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
