Mobile Application Developer

App Makers LA is hiring a Mobile Application Developer to help build and support mobile products for clients and internal teams. This onsite role in Los Angeles, CA focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure mobile applications across iOS and Android, with opportunities to work in cross-platform environments.

You will translate product requirements into clean, maintainable software while partnering closely with designers and other developers throughout the development lifecycle. The work includes API and database integration, performance tuning, release support, and keeping technical documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable application code.
• Build and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Develop responsive interfaces and intuitive mobile user experiences.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve application defects, and support ongoing improvements.
• Perform application testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and other developers across the development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established software development standards.
• Support mobile releases, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate development progress.

Requirements

• Experience developing mobile applications for iOS, Android, or cross-platform environments.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with React Native, Flutter, or native mobile development frameworks.
• Understanding of REST APIs, database integration, and third-party SDKs.
• Experience with Git, debugging tools, and software testing practices.
• Knowledge of mobile application security and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
