Sr. Mobile Developer (Cross-Platform)
Job Description
This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure cross-platform mobile applications for a high-security federal government client, operating within an Agile, classified environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain secure cross-platform iOS and Android applications to deliver mission-critical mobile capabilities across the federal government.
- Contribute immediately within an Agile delivery framework, collaborating with security and backend teams, and executing in a classified environment to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Utilize cross-platform mobile frameworks alongside native iOS and Android technologies to design, develop, test, and maintain secure mobile apps.
- Apply secure coding practices in line with RMF, STIGs, and secure SDLC standards.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs, enterprise services, and identity and access management solutions.
- Support Mobile Device Management integrations, including Samsung Knox and VMware AirWatch.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and sprint execution to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions clearly to teammates and leadership.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues rapidly in high-security environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence across the team.
Requirements
- Top Secret security clearance
- 5+ years of professional development of cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- 8 years of mobile design experience.
- Security+ (or equivalent) certification aligned with DoD 8140 requirements.
- Experience maintaining, integrating, optimizing, and debugging existing mobile applications in operational environments.
- Experience implementing secure mobile application architectures, including authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with enterprise services and APIs, including REST-based interfaces.
- Experience supporting mobile device management and secure enterprise mobile deployments, including Samsung Knox SDK and Knox REST APIs.
- Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up in a mission-critical operational environment.
- Ability to commute to Washington, DC (onsite).
