Job Description

Robotics Technologies is hiring a Senior Android Developer to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance native Android applications in an onsite role based in Atlanta, GA. This position brings hands-on enterprise mobile engineering with a strong focus on modern Android architecture, reliability, and security. Financial Services / Banking domain experience is mandatory.

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications with a focus on long-term scalability
  • Build mobile apps using Kotlin and Java, ensuring strong performance and responsive usability
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into the Android application
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data encryption mechanisms
  • Optimize application performance, usability, and responsiveness through profiling and iterative improvements
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver consistent product outcomes
  • Perform debugging, testing, and ongoing application maintenance
  • Apply Android development best practices and security standards throughout development

What you bring

  • 14+ years of overall software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in Android Application Development
  • Expertise in Kotlin and Java
  • Working knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack components
  • Understanding of MVVM and Clean Architecture
  • Experience with REST APIs, Retrofit, JSON, and API integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Android Jetpack, Coroutines, and Kotlin Flow
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and mobile application testing
  • Knowledge of mobile application security and performance optimization
  • Financial Services / Banking domain experience is mandatory
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
