Junior Mobile Application Developer

Capgemini, onsite in Dallas, TX, seeks a motivated graduate with foundational mobile app development experience (Swift/Kotlin) to contribute across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and building mobile user interfaces and applications.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to collect and translate user requirements into functional solutions.
• Produce UI mockups, prototypes, and design flows to enhance the user experience.
• Contribute to API development and integration, including Spring Boot microservices.
• Apply best practices in mobile UI development, performance, and usability.

Requirements

• Strong academic project demonstrating mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin.
• Experience or exposure to Spring Boot and microservices.
• Understanding of application architecture.
• Understanding of high level design techniques.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile delivery.
• Ability to support requirements gathering and accessibility considerations.
• Strong design skills with awareness of modern mobile UI trends and techniques.
• Experience building mobile applications using Swift/Kotlin.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, team-based environment.
• Familiarity with GenAI tools such as Copilot, Claude, and Gemini.
