United Activities Unlimited, Inc. invites a Job Developer to join the CRED program on site in Staten Island, NY. The role centers on building and sustaining partnerships with transportation industry employers, placing participants into paid internships, and guiding career planning and job placement under program leadership. This position offers an annual salary of $58,500 and requires an associate degree with at least three years of experience in related fields.

Responsibilities

Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local employers in the transportation industry
Place clients in internships with employer partners and monitor their progress according to UAU and DYCD guidelines
Visit host internship sites to ensure compliance with safety and labor laws
Assist clients with obtaining permanent employment in the transportation industry
Work with each client to develop a personalized career plan
Facilitate individual and group career counseling sessions
Advise, mentor, and coach CRED clients to support their success through advocacy, support, and guidance
Conduct retention and follow-up services to support clients after they complete pre-employment training and progress toward long-term goals
Collect, maintain, and audit client files for completion and accuracy in accordance with DYCD and UAU standards
Work with CRED Case Managers and Social Worker to complete case notes and document each client’s progress
Assist the Program Director with entering and approving client timecards
Participate in team meetings, conferences, professional development trainings, and other program-related events and activities
Work collaboratively with other CRED team members to ensure the program meets all DYCD goals, deliverables, and deadlines
Assist the CRED Instructor with designing and delivering the CRED training curriculum
Assist with any other departmental duties and projects as needed

Requirements

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in workforce development or in social services working with vulnerable populations; experience in the commercial driving industry preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with a wide range of constituents
Ability to stay organized while working with multiple stakeholders (clients, partners, etc.)
Strong project management experience, with ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deliverables and deadlines
Ability to take initiative and move projects forward in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
Excels working in a collaborative environment to achieve target objectives and outcomes
Experience using Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint and the G-Sulte platforms
Strong time management and partnership management skills
High level of emotional intelligence and ability to thoughtfully and accurately assess and respond to individual needs
Respect for diverse racial, socio-economic, ethnic, academic, religious, and cultural backgrounds and identities
Displays a superior level of professionalism, including attire, appearance, and demeanor

Physical Requirements

Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need

Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 50% of the time
May include working prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer
The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; accurate information exchange is required
The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet or more)
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs as needed
May include travel to a variety of locations, based on programming needs, with travel reimbursed per UAU policies

Job Description

Platform Aerospace is expanding its Training and Standardization efforts to support Group 3+ UAS operations. The Content Developer II designs and manages training content to ensure safe, consistent, and compliant flight operations, working closely with subject matter experts across Flight Operations, Maintenance, and Standardization. This onsite position is based in Blackstone, Virginia and offers a salary between USD 50,000 and 90,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Assist in standing up and growing the Training and Standardization content creation function
Design, develop, and maintain training and standardization content for UAS flight operations
Conceptualize and propose initial and future training projects to advance the Training department
Manage and deliver content projects from concept through completion, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
Create visual, written, and multimedia training materials aligned with SOPs and standardization requirements
Collaborate with subject matter experts across Flight Operations, Maintenance, and Standardization to ensure technical accuracy
Support training delivery as needed, including revisions, updates, or instructor support
Maintain version control and audit-ready documentation for training and standardization materials
Ensure content adheres to internal standards, security requirements, and operational guidance
Travel to operational or training sites as required to support content development and training initiatives
Perform other duties as necessary or required

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of relevant aviation experience, including Group 3 UAS operations or comparable aircraft operations
1+ year of experience in a standardization, evaluation, training, or operational oversight role
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
1+ year of experience creating, editing, and managing training or operational content
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic operational environment
Strong understanding of aviation or UAS operational concepts and terminology
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
Ability to translate complex operational information into clear, effective training content
Strong organizational and project management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and standardization
Ability to work independently while collaborating across technical and operational teams
Ability to follow structured documentation standards and version control practices
Comfortable learning new software, tools, and technical systems quickly
Able to travel up to 75%
