Instructor - Training Developer - Adult Safety Training

Lake States Environmental, Ltd. is expanding its adult safety training offerings and seeks an Instructor and Training Developer to deliver Asbestos Certification Training and Lead-Based Paint programs across Wisconsin and Minnesota. The role blends on-site instruction in Rice Lake, Wisconsin with the development of remote and online training options, and can be available as part-time or full-time for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Present Asbestos Certification Training programs and Lead-Based Paint training programs in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
• Facilitate training courses.
• Maintain training equipment and supply inventories used in their courses.
• Update and develop current and future course offerings.
• Develop remotely attended versions of courses and utilize virtual classrooms and remote training programs.
• Explore ways to offer our other programs to remote learners.

Job Summary

The primary focus is presenting Asbestos Certification Training programs and Lead-Based Paint training programs in Wisconsin and Minnesota, while facilitating classes and managing equipment and supply inventories. The role includes updating and expanding current and future course offerings and developing remotely attended versions of courses for remote learners using virtual classrooms. Experience with virtual classrooms and remote training programs is advantageous, and bilingual English–Spanish abilities are beneficial due to growing demand. The position may be filled as part-time or full-time, with most benefits available to full-time staff. Applicants with military experience are respected.
