Job Description

Remote role based in Eagan, Minnesota supporting Mayo Clinic’s Patient Platform Team, focused on manual and automated testing for web and mobile mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Build and run automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFT.
  • Design, implement, and maintain test frameworks using best-practice approaches, including data-driven and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
  • Work with off-shore testing teams to troubleshoot issues and align testing strategies; act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support release testing activities, including some work outside regular business hours (estimated 5%).
  • Assist with testing-environment setup tasks, including staging data, provisioning VDI, and whitelisting IP addresses to enable testing.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing across mission-critical platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in software or test automation development, with demonstrated technical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing web and mobile test automation frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFT.
  • Ability to develop and execute automated tests using Java, C#, Visual Basic, or Python.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, including Azure, Jenkins, or GIT.
