Job Description

ALEUT FEDERAL, LLC supports critical mission training for the USSF Officer Training Course (OTC) at the 537th Training Squadron (Peterson SFB CO). This onsite Instructor Developer IV role focuses on building and delivering Cyber Fundamentals and Windows-focused cyberspace operations instruction, with opportunities to apply technical expertise as a key training authority and live instructor for academically diverse learners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify on, and deliver in-residence cyberspace operations course materials (lessons and laboratories) using Instructional Systems Design (ISD), aligned to 537 TRS instructions, security classification guides, and other identified guidance
  • Interface with internal and external cyber agencies to update and maintain a state-of-the-art training program covering cyber tactics, tools, and exploits
  • Coordinate instructional activities with the contract task lead and government personnel
  • Deliver live, instructor-led training in-person and remote, supporting a positive and effective learning experience
  • Act as a technical authority for Cyber Fundamentals and Windows-related questions, providing guidance and consultation to students and internal teams
  • Assess learner progress, deliver meaningful feedback, and provide mentoring and support
  • Develop, update, and maintain training materials, lab exercises, assessments, and learning resources
  • Partner with instructional designers and task leads to support high-quality training solutions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, with minimal telework authorized and on-site work

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (or bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of additional experience)
  • Expert knowledge and experience in Computer Basics, Network Infrastructure, Cables, Cloud Environment, and Windows
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Windows Operating System, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with a variety of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Expert knowledge and experience with general cyberspace operations
  • Working knowledge and experience with cyber operational-level command and control constructs
  • Strong communication skills and experience delivering platform instruction to an academically diverse audience
  • Air Force Instructor Course or similar joint/civilian instructor course preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required

Location: Colorado Springs, CO (onsite)

Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 per yearly
