Augmented Reality Learning Developer

Position overview

The position focuses on designing, animating, and deploying augmented reality applications for INNIO’s learning and development programs that support its business groups. The ideal candidate brings experience in AR development and 3D animation, with a demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. The role is based onsite at the Center of Excellence & Training Center in Waukesha, WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of augmented reality experiences for learning and development programs.
• Utilize 3D animation techniques to create immersive and interactive AR learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate augmented reality and 3D animation into live courses, e-learning, and job aids.
• Conduct and oversee research on the latest AR and 3D animation technologies and their applicability to learning and development.
• Test, refine, and oversee the implementation of AR experiences and supporting devices to meet learning objectives and usability standards.
• Provide expert technical support for AR experiences, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
• Create comprehensive documentation for AR development processes and user guides to ensure clear accessibility for all AR experiences.
• Ensure instructors are prepared when new AR experiences and 3D animations are introduced.
• Stay current with AR, e-learning, and 3D animation trends and share knowledge with leadership and the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or related field; specialized AR training in training development is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the training and development field, including the development and delivery of training programs.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
• Travel expectations are less than 5%.
