Boeingβs Digital Analytics and System Health (DASH) team in Hazelwood, Missouri is seeking a Senior AWS Software Data Engineer to help design, implement, and scale cloud-based data services. This on-site role focuses on data governance, warehousing, and large-scale digital analytics to support Boeing Global Services, with leadership across the end-to-end lifecycle of software data products.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and maintenance of cloud data solutions that meet industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software data product designs.
- Coordinate development, maintenance, enhancement, and optimization of data products and functionalities for system integrations.
- Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, and designs for software data products.
- Debug and steer resolution of issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of data products.
- Research and implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development.
- Develop, monitor, and improve software data processes, tools, and key performance metrics aligned with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
- Lead execution and documentation of software data research and development projects.
- Consult on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required
- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Software Development
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and integrating big data platforms
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable computing infrastructure for data solutions, including cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- 3+ years of experience deploying and managing distributed systems on at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- 3+ years of experience configuring APIs for data ingestion
