F-22 Simulation Software Engineer (Associate, Experienced, and Senior)
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments, and frameworks to improve test performance, safety, and durability of software and hardware systems throughout the product lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review and define simulation requirements and the dynamics of the systems being simulated
- Assist in designing, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to assess and optimize overall system performance and capabilities
- Contribute to data collection and processing for use in simulations
- Assist in validating, verifying, and refining simulation software code, models, procedures, and test environments, executing tests and documenting results against real-world data or benchmarks
- Help document and maintain technical code, algorithms, and specifications for simulation models
- Support collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to enable integration of simulation software with hardware devices and systems
- Assist in implementing current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and methods within the software engineering simulation environment
- Support modernization and updating of simulation software to adapt legacy systems to new operating environments
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance; requires U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
- 2+ years’ experience in Ada, C++, Python, or C#
- 2+ years’ experience with Linux and Windows operating systems

Pay & Benefits
The total rewards package includes a competitive base salary and opportunities for variable compensation. Eligibility-based benefits programs may include health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability coverage, and paid or unpaid leave, with specifics varying by location and other factors. Summary pay ranges by level are as follows: Associate Level (Level 2): $99,450 – $134,550; Experienced Level (Level 3): $126,650 – $171,350; Senior Level (Level 4): $160,650 – $217,350.
