The Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer role at Booz Allen Hamilton centers on end-to-end full-stack development and modeling and simulation work (AFSIM), delivering solutions from concept to production in a fast, collaborative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide complete end-to-end solutions within an agile, fast-paced setting.
- Develop software and system components from initial concept through production readiness.
- Leverage a passion for learning to adopt new tools and identify system improvements.
- Assist clients in addressing their most challenging issues using current architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
- Ensure the team’s solution aligns with the existing architecture and operating environment while enabling future functionality and enhancements.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience developing models, scenarios, and plugins in AFSIM
- Experience with C / C++
- Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
- Experience solving complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

COMPENSATION
Salary at Booz Allen is determined by location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
