Job Description

CACI seeks a mid-level Unity Software Developer to design and deliver Unity PC simulations and training content for the Navy Sailor 2025 program. This onsite role in Norfolk, VA requires a Secret clearance and proficiency with Unity Pro to support a dynamic training initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Review Government Furnished Information to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Assess scenario scripts created by Instructional Designers (IDs).
  • Participate in design discussions with subject matter experts, IDs, and 3D Animators.
  • Develop Unity PC simulations for complex systems used in training scenarios.
  • Operate effectively within a fast paced production environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of software development experience.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Expertise with Unity Pro.
  • Experience with Autodesk 3ds Max and managing a 3D asset pipeline.
  • Previous experience collaborating with a training team developing complex media assets.
  • Proficiency in C# and object oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience using Visual Studio.
  • Experience with API development.
  • Knowledge of memory allocation and optimization in Unity via the Unity Profiler.
  • Knowledge of the Universal Render Pipeline (URP).
  • Understanding of 3D assets pipelines.

The Opportunity

CACI seeks an experienced and collaborative mid-level Unity Software Developer to join a team of Instructional Designers and 3D Media Developers in creating training content under the Navy Sailor 2025 Career Training Continuum program. The role involves reviewing detailed scenario scripts and building out complex PC simulations to support training objectives.

Pay Range

The proposed annual salary range for this position is $63,300 to $129,700.
