Job Description
Northrop Grumman is hiring an on-site Simulation Software Engineer in Palmdale, CA. This role supports next-generation aircraft platforms by designing, developing, integrating, and testing simulation software within an Agile environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to advance training simulations and flight software capabilities. The position offers a competitive salary in the range of $91,800 to $137,600 per year and a comprehensive benefits package. A Master’s degree in STEM is required (or a Bachelor’s degree in STEM with related engineering experience), and the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances.

Responsibilities
- Contribute in an innovative setting on diverse assignments within collaborative teams at all levels
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle from requirements through delivery
- Architect and develop applications for a simulated training environment
- Participate in Agile Scrum teams delivering software for multiple software baselines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related engineering experience, or Master’s degree in STEM with 0 years of related engineering experience
- Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including design requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
- Experience with at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Python
- Experience with two or more of the following tools: Jira, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, Sonarqube, Fortify, or Coverity
- Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment
