White Force, Scenario Developer
Job Description
Full-time on-site role at Nellis AFB, NV delivering White Force simulator operations, scenario development, and exercise director support for VTTC MCTS. Requires Top-Secret clearance with access to TS SCI/SAP/SAR and an SSBI completed within the last five years. Salary range USD 91,000 to 121,000 per year. Education requirement: Associate Degree or higher.
Responsibilities
- Provide White Force simulator operator support, scenario design, and exercise director assistance on-site for VTTC MCTS.
- Serve as a trusted facilitator for simulation scenarios and training exercises.
- Apply current Air Force and MCM 3-1 Brevity Code Word Standards, NATO standards, and dialogue per AFI 11-214, AFTTP 3-1, AFTTP 3-3, and ACP 125.
- Utilize Fighter Air to Air Tactics and Air to Ground Delivery Tactics; understand Surface to Air Missile types and capabilities.
- Oversee simulator operations, receiving and monitoring weapons data for mission scenarios, acting as a friendly pilot, responding to weapons guidance from a weapons director, and maneuvering the simulated interceptor accordingly; also role-play an adversary pilot under current Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.
- Understand how external agencies interact with the E3 and influence scenario flow.
- Logically insert downed aviator (Personal Recovery) injects, build civilian background traffic, include UN flights, and other scenario elements.
- Assist customers during training sessions to maximize learning outcomes.
- Attend Combat Air Force Weapons and Tactics Conferences and briefings.
- Orchestrate mission crew scenarios to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Participate in pre and post mission briefings and debriefs.
- Accept real-time injects and weave them into scenarios to satisfy new or existing DLOs.
- Safeguard all classified material in care and control.
- Provide simulated mission documents and information required for mission planning, including ATO, ACO, OPTASKLINK, SPINS, and OPLANS.
- Offer feedback on suggested customer changes to technical manual procedures.
- Design scenarios using current, realistic flying characteristics and capabilities of US and allied platforms.
- Develop, produce, update, maintain, and deliver Mission Simulator Training Packages (MSTP) for classified and unclassified events supporting VTTC and AWACS training.
- Support AWACS mission simulator event generation as needed.
- Be proficient with the latest Air Force mapping tools (JMPS) and apply knowledge of CONUS and overseas missions and exercises.
- Provide positional training for mission crews, including academic and hands-on support for IQT, MQT, UGT, and CT; handle special taskings such as equipment tests, higher HQ tasks, and Stan/Eval evaluations.
- Utilize ASCOT tools (SDMT, MAP, TD), SPI, PlexSys Sonomarc and PlexComm for communications support.
- Collaborate with government Mission Planning Computer, PLEES, AWS-Sim, PAD, and Frequency Management tools.
- Support scenario builds for CONUS and overseas missions, exercises, and operation spin-up areas.
- Produce and maintain MSTP mission planning materials (classified and unclassified) including scenario scripts.
- Maintain the MSTP Catalog file and inventory, tracking trends and identifying improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Current Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for SAP, SCI, and SAR access, or ability to obtain.
- Qualification on all required PLEXSYS products within six months of hire.
- Associate Degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent technical training in computer systems or a related high-technology discipline.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers.

Desirable
- Specialized computer training in mission planning or database management
- Seven to ten years of military Aerospace Command and Control experience
