Developer

Developer to help HQ United States Space Force strengthen organizational planning and execution through virtual infrastructure and information management and application capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop visualization and web applications for mission critical projects.
• Design and build visualization/web applications across the product development and release life cycle.
• Create visualization/web applications based on Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) principles and methodologies.
• Build, test, implement, and maintain information management structures and related applications for HQSF.
• Ensure compliance with HQSF information systems standards and applicable federal, DoD, and Department of the Air Force regulations.
• Follow privacy and security standards defined by USSF.
• Support “form services”, custom reporting, custom workflow development, PowerApps, Power Automation, and applicable fixes.
• Maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) standards on the HQSF Site Collection.
• Assist with designing and customizing solutions on multiple platforms to support HQSF.
• Ensure HQSF audits are performed on a bi-weekly basis.
• Oversee architectural design and integration content management, portals, updates, collaboration, business processes, and other solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and resolve program-related issues and problems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including:
  • Power BI
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power Virtual Agents
  • Power Pages
• Proven expertise in data analysis, including data visualization, data management, data integrity, and dashboard development (DAX Programming is a plus).
• Ability to optimize data processes, address data-related issues, and transition manual reports into automated, interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Extensive knowledge and proficiency in SharePoint Development.
• Demonstrated experience with Knowledge Management (KM) principles, concepts, systems, and tools.
• Experience with configuration management and life cycle management concepts.
• Knowledge of methods and procedures for documenting problem analysis and resolutions sufficient to maintain activity records.
• Knowledge of Military organizations, including Headquarters of the US Space Force and Headquarters, Air Force.
• Ability to work on high-visibility and mission critical taskings independently.
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
• JavaScript (main programming language used to develop USSF Governance Solutions).
• Knowledge of AngularJS, HTML, and CSS for editing and changing applications.
• Proficiency with SharePoint Content Editor (CE) webpart.
