Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high performance C/C++ software components, including GUI based test applications and API wrapper DLLs for SDK products on Windows and Linux.
• Perform hardware/software integration, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Develop and execute test scripts to verify deliverable software products.
• Lead technical design reviews, debug complex system-level issues, and mentor junior to mid-level engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance.
• Identify and resolve customer technical issues with software applications and SDK.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience (or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree).
• Core Language Skills: Deep proficiency in C/C++ and strong scripting skills (Python or Bash) for automation and data analysis.
• System Knowledge: Experience developing software for custom FPGA-based hardware.
• Embedded Protocols: Familiarity with data buses and communication protocols (PCIe, USB, ARINC 818, Ethernet).
