Overview
The Associate, Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software for Morgan Stanley's Capital Markets platform. The position supports broad engineering excellence and requires collaboration across functional and technical specifications, design, development, and ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications for Morgan Stanley’s Capital Markets platform.
- Participate in all phases of application development, including functional and technical specifications, design, development, and support.
- Ensure the deliverables meet high quality standards by applying software development best practices.
- Contribute to steering and advancing engineering excellence initiatives.
- Develop individual modules that contribute to larger project goals and milestones.
- Identify system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Telecommuting is permitted up to two days per week.

Compensation
The base pay for this role starts at $130,000 per year. Final base pay is determined on an individualized basis and may be accompanied by additional elements as part of the total compensation package, including commissions, incentive bonuses, discretionary bonuses, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored programs.
Location and Work Arrangement
Location: Alpharetta, Georgia. This is a hybrid position with the option to work remotely up to two days per week.
