Job Description
Capgemini is seeking a Junior Full-Stack Developer in New York, NY (onsite) with a salary range of USD 60,000 to 65,000 per year to build modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, with exposure to React.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement front-end interfaces using Angular, with exposure to React considered a plus
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand user requirements and translate them into features
- Produce UI artifacts such as storyboards, process diagrams, and wireframes
- Build and integrate REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot microservices
- Create UI mockups and prototypes to illustrate application functionality
- Adhere to UI development best practices, including accessibility and responsive design
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Stay current with emerging UI, full-stack, and web development trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Spring Boot and microservices
- Proficiency with Angular
- HTML5 knowledge
- CSS3 knowledge
- Understanding of application architecture concepts
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively within a team
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to take on new challenges
- Willingness to relocate
