DataAnnotation is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer to help shape the next generation of AI models. This contract role centers on crafting coding problems, delivering clean code, and evaluating AI-generated solutions to drive improvements, all with remote work and flexible hours. The position is based in Yonkers, NY, with an hourly rate between $50 and $100.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
Provide feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
Excellent writing and grammar skills.
A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
