Job Description
Siemens is seeking a Senior Software Developer for ILT (Inverse Lithography) in Fremont, CA (hybrid) with an annual salary range of USD 81,800 to 139,100.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative solutions to challenging lithography and optical proximity correction problems.
- Present thorough technical proposals for discussion with peers and leadership.
- Deliver robust, production-grade C++ software for massively parallel and scalable platforms.
- Perform in-depth quantitative analyses of software performance and quality metrics.
- Enhance performance of massively parallel and highly scalable software systems.
- Survey existing work in the field and related domains to guide solution design.
- Develop regression tests and continuously monitor software performance and quality.
- Diagnose and resolve production software issues promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; master's or PhD preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Some professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented C++ programming.
- Ability to navigate large codebases and devise novel solutions.
- Solid experience building highly optimized, scalable distributed systems in C++.
- Strong understanding of Linux software development.
- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and computer systems concepts.
