Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and ensure high quality code
  • Write and understand code to deliver a quality product with limited external assistance
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other departments
  • Perform well under pressure for extended periods
  • Maintain strong attention to detail, focus, follow-through, and follow-up
  • Pursue continuous improvement, learning, and growth, incorporating feedback from senior engineers
  • Adhere to established IT processes for change, configuration, and problem management, as well as regulatory requirements
  • Uphold professionalism and integrity toward colleagues and customers
  • Produce, test, and debug quality code while maintaining high standards
  • Develop scalable software solutions
  • Improve problem solving, deepen system knowledge, and broaden toolset proficiency
  • Follow Becklar development standards
  • Stay current with emerging web and mobile development technologies
  • Gather requirements for business reporting with clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize deliverables
  • Perform validation and verification testing using test cases
  • Maintain personal KPIs
  • Aim to spend 85 percent of daily time on developing sprint tasks
  • Complete sprint tasks within defined sprint timelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of professional development experience
  • Experience with C#, Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, Angular, and SQL
  • Experience writing and maintaining unit tests using XUnit or similar frameworks
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, and familiarity with serverless technologies
  • Proficiency with one or more databases (relational and non-relational) such as SQL Server, Aurora PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB
  • Ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure database solutions following best practices
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
  • Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills; capable of identifying issues and delivering strategic solutions
