Lockheed Martin RMS seeks a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to real-time processing software within an Agile team focused on defense radar and missile-defense systems. The role emphasizes architecture, implementation, unit testing, and sustainment across product lines, and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time processing software to support our product lines.
- Collaborate in an Agile team with domain experts from Hardware, Software, Subsystems, and Systems Engineering to understand requirements.
- Establish architecture and design solutions.
- Implement robust software solutions.
- Develop and maintain unit tests.
- Support integration and sustainment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical discipline with a concentration in computer science coursework.
- Minimum of five years of object-oriented C++ software development experience.
- Experience with automated test tools and techniques and static code analysis.
- Experience in a Linux environment.
- Background with Agile development and configuration management tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Work Schedules

Pay Rate
The annual base salary range for this position varies by location. In California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC, the range is $93,200 - $164,450. In most major metro areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York, the range is $107,300 - $185,840. For other locations, final compensation is determined by the work location. These figures are general guidelines.
