Job Description
Boeing’s Intelligence & Analytics team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, Maryland (onsite). In this role, you will help build and improve complex software systems that support RF signal processing as well as analytics, visualization, and discovery capabilities.
You will work across both new development and integration of legacy capabilities, with an emphasis on validating software components against design requirements and documenting test results. The work also includes shaping system-level design inputs such as hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and the appropriate use of COTS/GOTS solutions.
Role Overview
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements
- Contribute to cutting-edge development efforts by designing new solutions
- Innovate RF signal processing applications
- Build analytics, visualization, and discovery tools
- Integrate new and legacy software across a variety of hardware form factors
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and produce test documentation; resolve software problem reports
- Provide input to system design software components, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) instead of new development where appropriate
- Support requirements analysis and synthesis from the system level down to individual software components
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications
- Proficiency working in Linux development environments
- Proficiency coding in Python, C++, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools
- Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools

Compensation and Logistics
- Location: Annapolis Junction, MD (onsite)
- Telework/Remote availability: Telework/remote work currently not authorized
- Salary range: USD 224,000 - 265,000 per year
- Minimum experience: 14 years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
