Asylon is expanding its Philadelphia team with a Full Stack Software Engineer who will act as the primary developer on DroneIQ, the web application used to manage and interact with DroneCore deployments. This onsite role focuses on end-to-end ownership of product features, spanning the Vue frontend and supporting backend services, with work across dashboards, alerts, geofencing, video playback, and mission management.
You will build and evolve DroneIQ so security operators can reliably monitor and interpret complex robotic activity. The work includes creating clear interfaces for telemetry and media, integrating application functionality with robotics and data systems, and improving performance and user experience based on real-world operational needs.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain features across DroneIQ’s full stack, including the Vue frontend and backend services.
- Develop and improve dashboards, alerting workflows, geofence management, video playback, and mission planning interfaces.
- Build and maintain REST APIs that power the frontend and integrate with robotics and data systems.
- Collaborate with robotics and infrastructure engineers to surface real-time telemetry, video, and sensor data in the application.
- Create intuitive visualizations that turn complex robotic telemetry, 3D spatial data, and media stored in S3 into actionable insights for security operators.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and user experience using customer feedback and operational requirements.
- Contribute to backend services and infrastructure work beyond the application layer as priorities shift.
- Participate in code review, testing, and CI/CD practices to maintain high code quality.
