Associate Software Engineer

Saab is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to contribute to product development and project execution in an onsite role in East Syracuse, NY.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline
• 1+ years of related experience
• Programming experience with C/C++
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design skills, preferably using UML
• Experience working with Unix-based systems (Linux)
• Ability to systematically evaluate data
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• Travel up to 10% domestic and international
• Eligibility to access classified information

Preferred Qualifications

• Relational database experience (SQL)
• Familiarity with software version control systems (e.g., Subversion)
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

• USD 72,000 - 90,000 per year
