Software Developer II at Q-Lab Corporation will develop and maintain web, database, and client/server applications and design front-end interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio technologies, in a hybrid/onsite role in Westlake, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Q-Lab’s web, database, and client/server business applications.
- Create front-end user interfaces with Visual Studio technologies such as WinForms, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and C#.
- Design, optimize, and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and business logic.
- Utilize Q-Lab’s AI capabilities to automate coding and implementation tasks.
- Adhere to established software development standards, coding practices, and methodologies.
- Support and enhance software systems across Sales, Repair, Marketing, Accounting, Purchasing, Order Desk, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map workflows, and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Produce business requirements documents, technical specifications, and software design documentation.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing software applications and database systems.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional work experience.
- Proven track record of delivering software solutions.
- Solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and .NET (WinForms and ASP.NET).
- Specialized internal database experience.

$82,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
