Systems Integration Developer
Job Description
This is a hands-on backend role focused on SQL, integrations, automation, and production troubleshooting, with Power BI as a required component.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support database-driven integration solutions across systems
- Create, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
- Build and maintain REST API integrations linking internal and external systems
- Develop and support .NET backend services and automation processes
- Manage file-based workflows including monitoring, validation, imports, exports, and archiving
- Work with DB2 databases and ODBC-based integrations
- Support and enhance legacy business logic such as VBScript and classic ASP
- Troubleshoot live issues involving databases, APIs, services, files, and integrations
- Implement robust logging, validation, retry logic, and defensive error handling
- Develop and support Power BI data models and reporting solutions
- Partner with internal teams to deliver reliable technical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent technical experience
- Strong production experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, aggregations, subqueries, and tuning
- Experience with Power BI, including data models, reports, and performance tuning
- Experience building or supporting REST API integrations
- Experience with C# and .NET backend development
- Experience troubleshooting live production issues
- Experience working with JSON, CSV, Excel, and structured data
- Experience with relational databases in production environments
- Experience with DB2 or ability to learn DB2 platform nuances
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000 per year, depending on experience
- Potential for yearly performance bonus, if approved by the Board of Directors
- Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision

Work Location, Model & Eligibility
- Onsite role in the St. Louis, Missouri area
- Hybrid flexibility available on an as-needed basis
- Local to the St. Louis region or willing to relocate
