Job Description
CASH DEPOT LTD is seeking an IT SQL Developer for an onsite role in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The position offers a salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 per year and requires a Bachelor’s degree along with at least three years of direct SQL development experience. The primary duty is to design and implement database structures that enable fast storage, retrieval, and access to data across company projects.
Responsibilities
- Craft high performance queries and optimize data retrieval times.
- Maintain database health through routine maintenance tasks.
- Manage load distribution to balance system performance as needed.
- Adhere to industry best practices in database architecture, design, and development.
- Stay current with relevant data security procedures and standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations.
- Create fast and efficient MSSQL queries.
- Develop, optimize, and deploy stored procedures.
- Utilize database analytics tools to assess performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Ensure SQL queries follow modern security practices.
- Align SQL databases with the requirements of end applications.
- Design SQL databases following standard data normalization principles.
- Optimize queries to minimize resource usage during execution.
- Assist in testing SQL databases and verify their operation.
- Refine and automate recurring processes; track issues and document changes.
- Analyze business data and propose analytic approaches to meet objectives.
- Prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrate initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Apply data modeling techniques to ensure integration, performance, and future flexibility to meet changing business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of three years of direct experience as an SQL Developer.
- Advanced knowledge of database procedures and Microsoft SQL Server concepts.
- Ability to craft fast and efficient queries across multiple tables with joins.
- Experience with large relational databases and data structures.
- Strong quantitative skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong problem solving aptitude.
- Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Comfortable working as part of a team with Application Developers, Database Administrators, and operations personnel.
