Experienced Angular, .Net, SQL Developer

Decision Flow is seeking an experienced full-stack Application Developer to support a core operations execution platform. The role emphasizes development across Angular front-end capabilities, C#/.NET business logic and RESTful APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server data and ETL workflows within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive single-page applications using Angular and related technologies.
• Build modular, reusable UI components aligned with established coding standards and best practices.
• Implement client-side business logic, form validation, and application state management.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs to deliver consistent user experiences.
• Collaborate with UX, product, and manufacturing stakeholders, including planners, schedulers, supervisors, operations leaders, and IT/data owners, to translate workflows and requirements into functional interfaces.
• Develop operational dashboards, reports, data visualizations, and workflow interfaces used in manufacturing decision-making.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
• Implement business logic and application services within the middle application tiers.
• Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and performant.
• Work with other developers to maintain clean architecture and consistent service design patterns.
• Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including indexing strategies, query tuning, and execution plan analysis.
• Write complex queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
• Develop and maintain logical and physical data models.
• Develop and support ETL processes and data integration workflows for customer and internal data sources.
• Integrate data from systems such as ERP, MES, shop floor control, planning, and related platforms using REST APIs, SQL, ETL tools, message queues, flat files, EDI, or other appropriate technologies.
• Map and validate source data in collaboration with customer subject-matter experts, including business definitions, keys, relationships, completeness, and data quality.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using industry-standard testing frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Contribute to improved code quality and system reliability, including secure coding practices with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Monitor and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Use Git or other source control systems for version management and participate in CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps workflows.
• Operate within Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing front-end applications using Angular.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET Core.
• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
• Experience working with SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with automated testing and unit testing practices.
• Proficiency with Git or similar source code management tools.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background supporting complex, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and manufacturing operations software.
• Proven ability to integrate and validate data from manufacturing and enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated success developing user interfaces, reports, or dashboards for operational users.
• Ability to translate manufacturing workflows and stakeholder needs into application requirements.
• Knowledge of simulation, optimization, or analytics applications.
• Must be a U.S. Person as defined under U.S. export control regulations, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other protected individuals.
• Must consent to and successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be willing to complete technical assessments during the hiring process.
• Must be willing to travel occasionally to customer locations as needed (rare).

Compensation

Salary: USD 95,600 to 146,000 per year
