Senior Developer

The Senior Developer at Solid Platforms, Inc. is a hands-on role based in Portage, IN (onsite), supporting the full software lifecycle across the frontend, backend, and production environments. The position combines application development, REST API work, Azure deployment, troubleshooting, and mentoring to help reduce production risk and deliver reliable software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the company web application.
• Implement front-end functionality using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs connecting frontend and backend systems.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot applications hosted in Microsoft Azure.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the application, API, database, deployment, and production environments.
• Support application releases, deployments, testing, and production support activities.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to translate business requirements into effective software solutions.
• Contribute to improvements in application performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Assist with additional department duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Five to seven years of progressive experience in the field.
• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-hosted applications.
• Experience with Azure SQL and SQL database.
• Ability to assist department with additional duties, as needed.
