Job Description

Experis is hiring a Senior .NET Azure Developer for an agile cloud engineering team focused on building and deploying new cloud applications. This role supports the delivery of Azure-hosted APIs and web applications, with security built into each release from day one. The position is remote in the US and offered as an 8-month contract to hire (W2).

Role overview

You will help deliver production-ready solutions by building and deploying Azure services, partnering with a Scrum team to address user stories and operational issues, and improving application performance. Security practices are expected to be included throughout the release process, rather than handled as a separate activity.

What you’ll do

  • Build and deploy APIs and web applications to Azure.
  • Collaborate in a Scrum team on user stories, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure security is built into every release.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of C#/.NET development with deployment experience to Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, App Services, API Management, Key Vault, and Azure SQL.
  • Experience building modern front ends with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD and Git.
  • Working knowledge of TDD/BDD.
  • Bonus: Fortify, Sonatype, and Terraform.

Eligibility

  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder with 3+ years of continuous US residence.
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check.

Location: Omaha, NE (remote). Contract type: 8-month contract to hire, W2. Compensation: USD 80 per hour. Minimum experience: 5 years.
