Software Developer

CostFlex Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time Software Developer to design, build, and maintain internal applications that enable healthcare cost analytics. This onsite role is based in Mobile, Alabama and requires daily presence in our office with occasional travel. The successful candidate will write clean code, troubleshoot data and performance issues, and collaborate across teams to meet internal customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Create and sustain internal software applications that enable healthcare cost analytics
• Produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Identify, debug, and resolve system bugs, data issues, and performance bottlenecks
• Manage work across multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Collaborate with internal teams to align on customer needs and enhance system capabilities
• Address support requests to maintain system reliability
• Be present in the Mobile, AL office every weekday
• Occasional travel may be required

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or related field
• 2+ years of Software Development experience
• 2+ years’ .Net and SQL Server experience
• MS Access/VBA, VB6, and VB.Net a plus
• Solid understanding of database design, querying, and performance optimization
• Ability to debug issues and think critically about system behavior
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Healthcare experience a plus
