Join Northrop Grumman Mission Systems as a Principal Cyber Software Engineer in Jessup, MD, onsite. This role offers a compensation range of USD 119,600 to 187,900 per year and an educational path that includes a PhD. The position focuses on developing CNO software tools and data-flow solutions with documentation and reviews, and it requires a current TS/SCI with Poly and up to 10% travel across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops custom software for CNO tools and techniques.
  • Architects end-to-end data flow and tasking within CNO tools.
  • Author and maintain documentation; participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews per Government procedures.
  • Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
  • Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or embedded and mobile platform development using proprietary, GOTS, or open-source build environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 4 years of experience; or Master's degree with 2 years; or PhD with 0 year of experience.
  • Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance and willingness to obtain another polygraph.
  • Experience in Python or C/C++ programming.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems.
